And I thought Light-Up Shoes Were Annoying

by This is Carrie on June 12, 2008

They looked harmless enough in the bag of next-to-new shoes given to us by the neighbor. But just listen to these shoes on the feet of an energetic two year old:

It’s enough to drive this mama crazy.

I’m afraid these pink little shoes are going to have to disappear during the night.

such a shame, they are cute…but driven to the brink of insanity is ugly indeed. Yep, lose the shoes. :-)

Oh. No. Nononononnno! And they look so innocent and cute, too. Buh-by, lovlies.

(I love that you recorded her running- too cute!)

First of all…your little one is wearing shoes?

Second, I think those shoes have removable squeakies…have you checked?

ahhh — curse the squeakie shoes! whenever i hear a kid wearing those i immediately look to see what kind of a parent would actually put themselves (and everyone else) through that…too bad they are kinda cute. btw, i love your new little blog here:)

Kage- It’s funny you said that because a girlfriend of mine came over and showed me how to take the squeaker out. I still wonder who ever thought it was a good idea in the first place.

oh you are KIDDING ME. Whoever thought of that obviously never had kids. That’s crazy….

You have GOT to be kidding! That’s unbelievable! (and I’m with ya on the light-ups)
