Thank you for inspiring us! We are doing a project runway day with a few lucky silent auction winners (middle school girls)… At the end of the day, we will have the girls make dresses to be sent to a sister school. I can’t wait!

These are so cute!! I had picked up some Princess fabric in the remnant bin tonight, and was searching for something FUN to do with it– this was perfect!!! Used a t-shirt I had in the give-away bag cuz it was too small

I made two of these in about an hour. That isn’t counting the time I spent washing fabric, picking out fabric, buying matching t-shirts, etc. Of course I didn’t use stash fabric. I might need that for something! T’s were on sale at the craft store this week so I am going to make 4 more.

I know, aren’t they so fun and easy? Especially good for using up stash fabric and old t-shirts.

I have to tell you Carrie- I was working on dress #3 for Abby, and Beanie came in my sewing room and was watching me curiously. He then decided they were so pretty, he wanted one.

I sent him upstairs to chose a t-shirt, and let him pick the fabric for the skirt. He wanted blue, so that it would be boy-ish. I know... I know...

He is now the proud owner of boy-ish blue t-shirt dress!

Seriously. Easiest thing I've ever made- thank for the link and idea!
