We’ve been working on an audition video to get ourselves and our dog onto “The Dog Whisperer”. Talking about our dog and her issues (which include being abused before we got her, suffering separation anxiety since being in NYC on 9/11, and emotional trauma from being maced during a recent burglary) has been taken very seriously by Princess. Apparently she has also caught on to the Dog Whisperer language.
Tonight she prayed that Sugar will be able to “live a long time with all her baggage”.

Oh my gosh, I didn’t know about the burglary. I’m glad to see it didn’t happen in your current “Leave it to Beaver” neighborhood. It has never happened to us (how lucky is that?) but I can only imagine the feelings of violation. And you were right to suspect the burglars might come back. A policeman who did a presentation in our neighborhood said that burglars sometimes come back to the house a few weeks later because they know all the stolen items will have been replaced with new by then.
seriously? I am obsessed with Dog whisperer…almost done with his book…maybe I should come and whisper to sugz.
