Blood, Sweat and Tears on the Women’s Ride

In our family, we call these trophies. I got this trophy from a little crash while attempting to ride through a steep “halfpipe” that I had no business riding through. There weren’t actual tears, just wet stream crossings and twinge of sadness when I saw a lizard have an unfortunate meeting with a bike tire.

Fitness Plan

Figuring out a fitness plan with three kids has been a bit of a struggle. But, with Princess back in school and a new jogging attachment for the trusty bike trailer, ditching the car a few days a week might actually work out.
