Dutch Oven Breakfast Casserole

Another favorite Dutch Oven recipe. Once again – it’s not exact.

Layer into the dutch oven:
one loaf of bread (chopped into cubes)
cooked and crumbled sausage about 1/2 lb?
grated cheese – about 1 cup?
1 can green chiles

Beat together:
12 eggs
2 cups milk
salt and pepper

Pour egg mixture over layered mixture. Cook with 10-12 hot coals on bottom and 12-15 coals on top for 45 min to 1 hour (or until top is golden brown and bread is cooked through).
