Hands down, the favorite part of the party was painting the 20’x 6′ mural on paper covering the entire garage door. Can you spy: the nativity scene corn worms swimming pool cactus a bee (click to enlarge) Other party activities included watercolor art, and clay bead making with FIMO dough

We celebrated by doing what we love most: a bike ride followed by trip to an all-you-can eat Korean BBQ Buffet. Good thing we both think being dirty, sweaty and smelly is an acceptable (and even desirable!) romantic evening. I knew there was a reason we’ve lasted all these years.

To balance out the girls new found love for the glamorous and glitzy sport of Olympic synchronized swimming, DH introduced them to Olympic Women’s BMX. The fast moving, high jumping girls on bikes were pretty impressive, but a bedazzled jersey could have really sealed the deal.
