One of the teachers made these fabulous election-themed muffins for our little bake sale this morning to benefit the elementary school PTA. There was a nice steady stream of customers since the school is also the polling place.

I love that idea.
You know what’s sad? My school district can’t have bake sales because the town’s health inspector has outlawed any homemade (read: not pre-packaged) goods in the ENTIRE TOWN. That means, no pot-luck at church, no bake sales, no popcorn at family movie night. Bummer.
