Fall in California

I adore going to the beach in November. It’s not too hot, there aren’t any crowds and it’s easy to stay until sunset.

Pretty Jane November 13, 2008 at 6:59 pm: Oh, WORD. When we lived in north Florida, we’d go in Feb and just enjoy having all that peacefulness to ourselves. But, really–is there a BAD time for the beach?? I miss the sound of surf, and may be in withdrawal. Thanks for the photo (it’s a little like beach methadone, maybe?).

Jane November 14, 2008 at 12:53 am: I have to hit the beach. I have been homesick for fall leaves and crisp air, but clearly that isn’t in the works for us Angelenos this year. Maybe a beach trip will help me appreciate fall here!
