A Prayer of Thanksgiving

by This is Carrie on December 1, 2008

Thank you Boston Market for our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner

Thank you Home Depot for our beautiful Christmas tree.

While I love a good home cooked holiday meal and a picturesque family trip to the Christmas Tree Farm where you each take turns cutting down the perfect tree, I wouldn’t trade it for the relaxing beginning to the holiday season we enjoyed this weekend.

Dr. Faranakian once told me (the semester I was struggling with 18 credits, working two jobs and training for a marathon)

“You can have it all….just not all at once”

So it is with Turkey Trots, Christmas trees and Turkey dinners. You were smart to out source the dinner!

Amen, Sister. We had enchiladas for Thanksgiving, and set up Mr. Fakey Fakerson, with his pre-strugn lights, and I am so happy.
