Before: A long, hand-painted silk organza “skirt” rescued from a garage sale. Judging by the unfinished waist, and really long zipper that continued up past the waist, I would say this skirt began it’s life as a dress.
After: A short, flirty version of Dior’s “New Look” . Add a silk sash and a little black sweater and the outfit’s ready to wear to the firm party.

Very cute! I’ve been lurking around for a little while and your creations are very inspiring.
That is great! I love that it is on its third life now. And with those cute girls of yours it may even have more transformations in the future.
I love that it was for the “firm’s party” that seems to be one of the rare occasions that I mix up the practical mom clothes
