The rain pretty much ruined my plans for a weekend mountain bike ride. My disappointment was lifted a little when we caught sight of a double rainbow (the second one is really faint in the picture) in the sky during a short break in the bad weather.

Since my winter garden flopped, I decided to try a few boxes of fruits and veggies from the local CSA to get my fill of local grown veggies. I’m going to try the same tactics I used with broccoli to get the kids to try this cool green cauliflower (?).

Here’s how the story goes: This house was sold for $1. The catch was that the new owners had to move it off the property. Apparently this type of real estate deal happens all over the place. Crazy.
