Still, on my fourth time seeing this show on Broadway, I can’t hold back the tears during the opening scene. It is completely overwhelming to all the senses.Princess loved every. single. minute. And for the first time, she caught the whole meaning of the “circle of life.”

It was my second time, and seriously SO teary. Lolly just downloaded the whole soundtrack today with some of her birthday money. 6.99 for a whole lot of MAGIC.
When we saw it in London I was completely unprepared for the emotions that opening sequence brought out of me. TEARS…so intense and beautiful. It is my favorite opening sequence of any Broadway musical.
Had been trying to decide if this would be worth it for my 5 year old when we go this summer. Looks like I should get tickets.
We went to this on our honeymoon in NYC and I felt like a little kid. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time. I can’t wait to take my boys.
