After the zoo, we walked around the park trying to remember which places were featured in the “Enchanted” movie’s “That’s How You Know” musical number. We are also now convinced Kage should fulfill her busking dream dressed as Giselle, singing in front of the fountain and taking photos with the visiting children.

Still, on my fourth time seeing this show on Broadway, I can’t hold back the tears during the opening scene. It is completely overwhelming to all the senses.Princess loved every. single. minute. And for the first time, she caught the whole meaning of the “circle of life.”

We couldn’t visit NYC and not take a stroll down the main drag of our old neighborhood in Astoria, Queens. Nice to see not much has changed. Even picked up our old favorite chinese-sequined-summer-shoes. Two for $3. Booyah.

After spending the morning as the Guest of Honor at her BFF’s elementary school (their first grade classes have been pen pals this year), we headed uptown to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We had been learning about some famous artists during spring break and Princess couldn’t wait to see their art first-hand.
