I was completely inspired by Bernadette Noll and Kathie Sever of Future Craft Collective (via CRAFT. My version, made out of thrifted sheets & fabric scraps and with stitched calendar lines, took some time and patience, but hopefully it will be something we can pull out each summer for years to come. more pics here

The End of First Grade

I helped plan “centers” today as part of the “end of the school year celebration”. Activities included tissue paper flowers (a spritz of perfume at the end is a must), paper airplane making, a rotating drawing game (see dinosaur with dress) and jacks.
