Last weekend, Elise and I executed an event three months in the making:The First Annual Give it a Tri-Athlon for women.Even though there was blood, sweat, tears and a little bit of throw up, it was clear every woman who participated came out of the “super-mini-sprint-tri” a better person.

It was a fun 10k race full of mud, obstacles and girls in booty shorts.It might have been more like a 9K given my time of 54:30.And without timing chips, taking 6th place in my age group doesn’t mean that much, but I’ll take pride in it anyway.

Last week, we were lucky enough to host Princesses BFF (who flew all the way from NYC to CA by herself–brave girl). Who knew we could pack so much fun into 6 days and how much we’d miss her now that she’s gone.
