Princess helped me come up with the idea for this appliqued sweatshirt for her little peace-loving friend using thrifted fabric: vintage quilt squares from the 60’s and an unfinished quilt piece made from crazy polyester fabrics. applique tutorial here

I never thought I could love another bike as much as I loved my Juliana. But, the Safire has won me over even with a blown back tire on my first ride (which I fixed myself, thank you very much). I can tell we’ll have some wonderful adventures together in the years to come.
