The Unintentional Night Ride

by This is Carrie on August 13, 2009

This ride with the girls started while the sun was still up, but finished in the pitch dark.
I’ve been on night rides before, but they are planned. I bring along headlights and men and stuff.

At least the girls got to hear my loud, singing voice as I made up songs (Will Ferrell style) to ward off imminent mountain lion attacks. 🙂

“There is NOTHING to be AFRAID of. And if there WERE, we couldn’t SEE it ANYWAY!”

P.S. Today is the last day to VOTE for “This Mama Makes Stuff” in the Just Spotted OC Blog Awards. I promise it just takes two seconds. So if you haven’t voted already CLICK HERE and Vote on the left sidebar.

Yes, lots of singing and screaming…

I keep finding boo boos on my arms and legs, but it was worth it.

I tried not to let it show that I'm scared of the dark.
