New Addition to the Beach Cruiser

by This is Carrie on September 30, 2009

Hammock Love

by This is Carrie on September 29, 2009

I’ve been pricing out “stand alone” hammocks ever since we moved into our house two years ago. That’s why when I saw this one for $40 at a garage sale, I knew it had to come home with us.

by This is Carrie on September 28, 2009

A year later, here is a breakdown of the amazing journey of our money: Loans made: 25 Total amount lent: $625 Total amount repaid: $401 Total amount […]

Mountain Bike race #2

by This is Carrie on September 23, 2009

photo by High Rev Photos Last week was the second race in the Over the Hump Mountain Bike Race series. I didn’t have high expectations for the first race, but this race I really hoped to be faster (and by faster, I mean faster than Todd who was racing it for the first time, on […]

Making Stuff: Quilts for a Cause

by This is Carrie on September 22, 2009

My church’s Humanitarian Services has an immediate need for full size quilts, so with the help of a “quilter friend” we set up a couple, all ready to tie in between Super Saturday crafts. Even though I had big plans for my thrifted floral sheets, this was a far better plan.
