Making Stuff: 70’s Jumpsuit to Jumpdress

by This is Carrie on October 14, 2009

Princess said the awesome jumpsuit I found at the thrift store was “way too weird”, but once I turned it into a dress using a thrifted, era-coordinating, quilt strip, she loves it.

It’s a little “summery” but in Southern CA, we can pull this kind of stuff off all year round.

Before: “Way to weird, mom”

I love both the before and the after. and I totally envy that you can wear such a light garment all year round. Today it's snowing here.
