We definitely have Fancy Nancy fans in the house, but I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with this book myself. But give me a book with themes of improvisation (defined as “using whatever is around to make something”), the value of handmade and the creation of family heirlooms and you’ve got me hooked.

I love fancy nancy! The little girl I babysit for tries to make everything fancy and the book is just such a great book and they learn too!
