My daughter lost her 1st tooth last week. I would have loved the fairy dust, note and keeping the first tooth. Instead she left her tooth in the toothfairy pillow that Grandma made and the toothfairy left 4 quarters. My daughter is still carrying those quarters around. Seriously, She's right up there with Santa. In our house she would come through the bedroom window, we knew this because there would be tiny tiny gossamer foot print of her tiny tiny high heels, and faery dust on the pillow and sheets to boot. Tiny hand written notes were left to encourage brushing and flossing and promises of pretty and pristine teeth being made into diamonds, and of course a crisp new dollar bill. <br /><br />I think she left a good impression on at least on of the kids, who told us in 4th grade she would grow up to be a good faery (as a career)and then grew up to be a real Tooth Faery! Our tooth fairy must be talking to your tooth fairy. Cause the $5 first tooth thing is pricey. The $1 each subsiquent tooth is bearable. But VERY glad that my tooth fairy hadn't heard about the gold coin thing until we were well in to our relationship (neighbors in this case also)... so she was off the hook! ;) Hmmm.
