Making Stuff: Teacher Gift

by This is Carrie on January 12, 2010

I pulled out my trusty reusable bag pattern once again.  The polka dot fabric from “the stash” in the school colors paired with a monogram drawn by Princess made it a great personalized and useful Christmas gift for her second grade teacher.

Really cute! Practical too.

I love your recycled bag, was wondering do you have a tutorial on it? It looks like a great size, not too big, etc.

hey andrea,

I haven’t done a tutorial on it yet. But in my post dated Feb 7th 2009, I said it was coming soon. Maybe in 2010.

What keeps me from it is this “hard to explain unless you’re sitting right next to me” step to have it all clean finished except for one spot on the inside bottom lining. I’ve even video taped it in hopes to put it together that way. Still nothing.

It is a great bag though.

Can’t wait for the tutorial! It looks awesome and I’d love to try it. What a good idea for a teacher gift!

Sorry Katelyn, i haven’t published the pattern for this bag. I’m sure you could find something similar with a google search though.
