Making Stuff: Homemade Bike Jersey

by This is Carrie on June 23, 2010

When we heard the Over the Hump mountain bike race series added a kid’s race, Princess definitely wanted to race it.  She also wanted a racing jersey just like mom and dad’s.

With the downloading of the team font, a free hand copy of the the team logo, and a little freezer paper stenciling, she got her wish.

Carrie that’s perfect!! Great idea for the mtb kids! My kids used to do the kid races at my hubbie’s big boy mtb races when they were young. They loved it.

i’ve been following your blog for a while now, and i just want you to know that your family inspires me. my husband and i have recently taken up running around the block and are planning on getting some bikes soon. we even signed up for our first race, the warrior dash. something about free beer and a viking helmet, and my husband was sold. :) great idea for the little jersey!
