Even without the shooting stars created by the Perseids meteor shower (which just happened to coincide with our vacation), the clear, night sky atop Brian Head Peak would’ve still been amazing.

This was set up and taken by our friend who has a totally awesome camera. I tried to get something similar with my DSLR but it just wasn’t going to work. 🙁

WOW, is this straight of of camera?? .. I love my dslr but unfortunately haven’t made the time to really learn it yet. even when it’s real dark, on auto settings, it would have made it look pretty bright out. and I would definitely need the tripod I haven’t purchased yet 🙂 I would probably attempt a fake in photoshop but it wouldn’t be that awesome!
