Last Saturday Todd competed in his first repeat triathlon (that is, he did this same event last year). I was terribly disappointed that I couldn’t be there to cheer him on but the school carnival (my last huge commitment before the baby comes) was scheduled for the very same day. Even without his cheering section, his overall time was about 8 minutes faster than last year, placing him 3rd in his age division (and I’m pretty sure there were at least 4 competing)!
