Family Christmas Party 2010

by This is Carrie on January 8, 2011

Each year, the family Christmas party is a day full of old traditions and new fun.

The traditional gift exchange included 2 boxes of 30-year old canned food and a highly coveted, 2010 autographed BYU football (especially meaningful since my nephew is on the team this year).  But once my dad opened the football, no one dared steal it from him.

The Baby joined his cousins in the Nativity Scene as Baby Jesus.

New to the celebration was a cookie decorating competition complete with award ribbons.  Princess won “Yummiest Cookie.”

The kids collected over $120 in change to help fund my niece’s LDS mission.

But I think we had the most fun building and racing pinewood derby cars.

Love this. I especially love the look of determination on Brothers face as he hammers his car. It looks like you guys had a blast 🙂
