Making Stuff: 100 Days of School Project

by This is Carrie on February 11, 2011

Ideas for the”100 days of school” project spanned from diapers to legos to boogers.  We finally settled on (a more hygenic) 100 scraps of fabric (I cut, she tied) which Pumpkin is excited to hang in her classroom on Monday.

Great idea! I always loved seeing these projects decorating the halls when I worked at our primary school a few years ago. :)

Thank goodness! We have been discussing pennies, and I am less than thrilled.

It’s funny you say that because as we were taking the picture, I thought to myself “if we had squished all the scraps onto a shorter piece of string, it would’ve made a cute scrappy scarf!”

I <3 this!!! What a quick, easy and more colorful alternative to all the buntings that everyone is doing!!! I'll be making and stringing some of these in our nursery ASAP!
