Making Stuff: Patio Set Refashion

by This is Carrie on June 23, 2011

Picture 6 iron chairs whose crumbling fiberboard seats were covered with no less than 5 different vinyl coverings (I actually loved the orange floral I found somewhere in the middle).  Wait, don’t picture it. It was too pathetic.  Now picture them with fresh wood seat bases (thank you dad for doing the cutting) a layer of weather resistant foam and a new layer of bright floral oilcloth. Wait, you don’t have to. I took a picture. You can find a great selection of oilcloth HERE.

I love that fabric, so bright and cheery! It goes so well with the chairs and wow, five layers, they’ve had a crafty life!
