It’s Time to Start Prepping for a Handmade Holiday

by This is Carrie on September 15, 2011

Today, I’m over at Skip to My Lou sharing one of my “oldies but goodies”: Shape Stretchies! They make a great gift for the littles in your life and they are SUPER easy.  If you haven’t been following the Holiday Bake, Sew & Craft Along, you’re totally missing out. Great ideas and lots of motivation to get started on those homemade holiday gifts.

Just wanted to let you know the link in this post to your Shape Stretchies doesn’t seem to be working. I was able to find them through your tutorials link. They are great and I can’t wait to make them!

It is so nice to know I’m not the only one starting to think about this already! I didn’t decide to do a handmade Christmas until about November last year, and ended up having to pull 2 all-nighters just to get everything done! I started canning this year which is nice…jam makes a lovely gift, and can be done VERY far in advance! :)

I just LOVE your blog, by the way!
