Hood to Coast 2011: The Costumes {I Mean Serious Running Wear}

by This is Carrie on September 6, 2011

Having run a relay before, I knew how important flashy running attire is to the overall race experience.  That’s why I was thrilled when our team, AfterNuun Delight, agreed to wear Sparkle Athletic running skirts. They are definitely the best thing for a team to wear for a relay race. Not only are they fun, flashy and way easy to run in (even our most serious runners fell in love), the sparkles made every runner a cinch to spot on the course, making the transitions super smooth.

Even our Van drivers, Mason (uber-cool President of Nuun) and Ken (superstar creative genius of Nuun) had to get in on the Sparkle.

Add some psychedelic sport headbands from One Love Collection, groovy rainbow sunglasses and our Nuun Team Shirts from Sport Science, and you have a team that everyone on the course couldn’t help but recognize.

I can’t fail to mention a couple of my favorite running accessories

Nuun Tattoos and Nuun headwear from Head Sweats. My new visor is THE BEST visor ever and I am REALLY picky when it comes to my running visors.

My totally rad Endorphin Warrior Bracelet reminding me what I needed to do.
