Making Stuff: SuperMom {DIY Halloween Costume}

by This is Carrie on November 2, 2011

The kids weren’t the only ones that got semi-homemade costumes this year.  I decided to pair a bunch of fun, new superhero accessories I found at Savers thrift store with my red Team Sparkle skirt and my favorite yellow belt turned “supermom utility belt.”  I cut out my “M” logo applique out of a couple old T-shirts and basted them onto my outift just in case I want to use the blue unitard for something different next year: Smurf? Blue Man Group? Cookie Monster on a diet?

What can you find in my “SuperMom Utility Belt”?  A sippy cup, a binky and an arsenal of diapers of course! How about yours?

How clever!! I love the Supermom costume. My belt would have a juice box, goldfish, and a Frankenstein doll (my daughter’s must have for bed).
