Making Stuff: Baby Tunic {Thrifted Sheet Refashion}

by This is Carrie on May 10, 2012

An upcoming baby shower for a super-hip mom friend inspired me to create a cute little tunic out of a sheet I picked up at Savers thrift store a few months ago.  I knew she’d appreciate the southwestern style.

To complete the look, I picked up some “matching” leggings at Gap.  Who knows if the tunic will ever fit right since I made it up as I went along, but it sure was cute in the box!

A friend linked your blog. LOVE the tunic!! I have a baby girl, and I think it will fit just fine, that waist and sleeves look very forgiving and comfortable.

Maybe someday I’ll find time to do a tutorial? It’ll take me a while to recreate since I didn’t even make a pattern or take pictures as I went along. 🙁
