Each year we convince a few more family members to join our 11 mile mountain bike ride. Learning to conquer the switchbacks, steps and rock gardens make it fun. Watching the young, inexperienced, teenage boys ride over their head and consequently crash make it even funner.
The next day, the largest group to date made the traditional 9.3 mile run from town into camp, with two nephews upping the ante by deciding to run the route “out and back”–almost 19 miles keeping a 7 minute pace. Its nice to have fellow endorphin junkies in the family.
