Princess helped me come up with the idea for this appliqued sweatshirt for her little peace-loving friend using thrifted fabric: vintage quilt squares from the 60’s and an unfinished quilt piece made from crazy polyester fabrics.applique tutorial here

Thank you. For some reason PEACE and nouveau hippie is all the rage amongst the the 8 and 9 year old set. I have thought about making her some t-shirts and now this sweatshirt will be great as well. Thanks! Good stuff.
