Against my better judgment, I let the girls purchase Baby Alive dolls with their birthday money. On our way out of town, we made a stop at the Cedar Breaks National Monument Honestly though, nature is way more fun to look at as you’re whizzing past on a bike.

Surrounding the lake, we found a great trail for the kids to practice their mountain biking skills. Even Baby Brother took his little Strider out for a spin.

I’m not sure who was more excited, them or me? Pumpkin biggest worry about Kindergarten was that “I don’t know my math yet”. Imagine her relief when the hardest things she did all day were walking in a straight line and using scissors to cut paper.

Even without the shooting stars created by the Perseids meteor shower (which just happened to coincide with our vacation), the clear, night sky atop Brian Head Peak would’ve still been amazing.
