I Love Belated Birthday Presents

My mom surprised me with this belated birthday present. It is so beautiful and feels so good in my hand. Perfectly balanced, smooth and shiny. I can’t wait to cut out my next project. If you are not a sewer, you will not understand this post at all.

So Proud

Today my favorite sister (who is also a mother of 10 and grandmother of 2) is graduating from college. I couldn’t be more proud of her. Another AMOTD: Baby Brother Slept for 4 hours straight.

Happy Memorial Day

We celebrated by raising a flag, eating Subway sandwiches, and taking a moment (and by doing 6 loads of laundry). Awesome Moment of the Day (AMOTD): I attached the Flag holder to the house all by myself to the applause of the neighbors across the street.
