It was too hard to decide whether to make a dog cake or a cat cake so we made both.
Princess is a little obsessed with cake decorating right now, so she helped me design and plan the cakes. Then she did all the baking, carving and frosting.
She molded the noses out of Laffy Taffy and Tootsie Rolls and placed the M&M eyes. I just finished the masterpieces up with some frosting calico and gingham details.
All the kids got to enjoy their ice cream and cake out of their very own dog/cat food bowl which they thought was HILARIOUS.

This is super cute! Where did you get the dog bowls. I can’t find any affordable cute ones anywhere.
