You freakin’ rock. I am so proud of you. You now win the title of my most strongest friend 🙂

Jen March 30, 2009 at 6:15 pm

Congrats!!! I’m curious what leg was the hardest for you? I would think mnt biking 14 miles would be pretty challenging sandwiched in between a swim and a run.

Sarah March 30, 2009 at 6:43 pm

Carrie, i’m so impressed by you! I don’t think i could EVER do that! Congratulations! You’re officially awesome!

Hey, these are great pictures. Was the bike pic before or after going over the handlebars? Nice job!

Thanks everyone!

Jen – I think the hardest part was the first 200 yards of the swim. All those people thrashing about–impossible to find your groove. THe rest felt great – except the part where I flew over the handlebars.

Sarah – The bike picture is from after the crash. all my scrapes are covered with dust so you can’t see them. I didn’t even know I had any until I felt a burning on my shoulder and thigh during the run.

Congrats! You’ve inspired me to do one.

Wow. I’m so inspired to go for it! A triathlon is on my list of things to do before I’m 40 (9 years to go). I don’t know how to swim…yet. Thanks for sharing everything!
