Service Auction Quiz

by This is Carrie on April 1, 2009

One of my favorite church activities is a “Service Auction”. Sometimes it’s a fund raiser and sometimes it’s just for fun. When it’s just for fun, a quiz is usually taken to accrue points to bid with. If you ever find yourself organizing such an auction for a group of women, feel free to use the quiz I compiled. I think it’s a nice mix of good questions, funny questions, and get-to-know you questions.

Okay, I LOVE the quiz, but I am curious exactly what do you bid on? What makes it a “service auction”? We could use some fun ideas out here in boring old Idaho! 😉

I’m still training for those mountain bike lessons I won, Carrie! Loved the Service Auction!

Women donated all sorts of things. For example: sewing lessons, cooking lessons, computer help, math tutoring, financial advice, babysitting, FHE lessons, made-to-order homemade cupcakes, aesthetician services, haircuts, floral design services, mountain biking lessons, etc etc.

Some people brought actual items to auction off: child’s tutu, quilt, cookies, tomato starter plants, etc, etc.

It was a really fun night.
