There is a history of sock bunnies in my family. My mom made me this one when I was very young. Little did I know she saved it after I left home only to clean it up, have my dad build a shadow box, and gift it back to me just a few years ago. Now it hangs in the girls room. One of the best. gifts. ever.

Oh. WOW. That *is* the best gift ever, it is so beautiful and speaks of so much care and affection. Totally awesome, and adorable. What a fantastic heirloom to be able to pass down to your girls, now.
What a cool present. I was having a conversation with my mum just yesterday about how she has clothes and stuff of ours from when we were babies. She saved them so when we have babies we can pull them out for them.
aw. i remember having one of these too, but I have no idea where it is. I was totally thinking about it the other day and wishing I had kept it. I wonder if my mom or dad have it somewhere.
