Triathlon Report: The Commitment

by This is Carrie on April 1, 2009

The faint of heart might want to stop reading right now.I’ve heard that real racers don’t stop to use the bathroom.
All I will say is–who knew my biking mantra would apply in more than one way.

Runners do it all the time and joke about it although I think it would be harder to “let go on a bike”

After six kids I may have to do the same when it is time for me to race.

I was totally going to keep your story to myself but now you are putting it out there – fabulous! Once again, you rock 😉

mommymita – When my friends/family said they didn’t think they would be able to “just go”, I told them once you have three kids, holding it in is way harder.

I heard that the guys who race the Tour de France and other big bike races just pee off the side of their bikes….not such an easy task for a woman!

I’m so proud of you, sis! My kids would ask my if I peed while I was racing and I would answer “Are my socks yellow?”
