Learning to draw

by This is Carrie on September 25, 2009

For weeks, I had been trying to get Baby Brother interested in putting pen to paper. I figure it’s a nice, quiet, and calm activity that would come in helpful, say, at church. But, he was not interested in using a writing instrument at all. Turns out it was actually the paper he was having problems with.

Oh, so cute. Down the road, you'll be glad you posted this. Something to laugh about. At least he's creative! 🙂

PAPER??? What's that? My kids all still love to hide and draw on themselves. Let me know what to do when you figure it out.

Aww!
I feel your pain. My 2-yr-old currently has a bright green sharpie moustache.
*sigh*

About a year ago you posted a cute brown crocheted baby cap with with a brim. I have been dying to find a pattern to use. I've crocheted a little but want to try that cap. Did you buy that pattern online you referred to? And what about the cap part? I've tried to do a cap with out a pattern and it always turns out too pointy. And I love the stitch you used. Do you mind sending me info about it? Thanks. (amberpitt@gmail.com)

I have a tiny crush on those shoes.

My little sister did that, only she found the drawer that had my dad's permanent markers in it. And she particularly liked the black and a dark blue. ALL over her legs. I was little too, but I've seen the pictures, and did she ever do a good job! Looked great sticking out there below a cute little sunday dress…

Have any of them cut their own or their sister's hair yet? That usually happens at least once.
