I had planned on making a second dress with the second thrifted pillowcase, but time and Big Sister’s taste got the best of me and instead I made a ruffle-embellished tank adorned with the leftover, zig-zag crochet trim (trim pattern from Crochet Adorned).

So, did you crochet the trim yourself or purchased it?

That is so cute! I love how you mentioned that your daughter’s taste got in the way of your plans… that is happening more and more to me lately with my daughter!

I crocheted it myself. Trim is my new favorite crochet project because it’s completely mindless and it’s small enough I can throw it in my bag to pick up anytime, anywhere.

rhonda – I’m not used to my girls having a strong opinion on what I make for them. Usually they are happy with anything. Lately, the older one is all about jeans, so a shirt was much more appealing than a dress.
