Once Princess saw the scripture case I made for her BFF back in the spring, she hoped to receive her own set of scriptures with a homemade case as a baptism gift too.
Using the same thrifted bedspread for the body of the bag with a piece of thrifted floral bedsheet for the lining, the case (loosely based on the tutorial found HERE) came together quickly and inexpensively.

It looks like the originl pattern has been updated so it’s probably a lot better and incorporates a lot of my tweaks to fit the scriptures better. The only other thing I did was to extend the sides of the bag to start creating the handle and an extension of the side and I also added a Velcro strap across the center.
