The crocheted snowflake ornaments wasn’t the only Savers holiday DIY project that spoke to me. Turning a thrifted doily into bowl is a brilliant idea for anytime of the year.
Once again, my local Savers thrift store did not let me down, supplying me with the perfect doily for less than $2. Now I just need to figure out what to fill it with.
P.S. On the recommendation of my mother (who has stiffened numerous crochet projects over the years) I used Elmers school glue instead of fancy fabric stiffener.
