Making Stuff: Knit Harem Pants

by This is Carrie on April 14, 2011

I made these knit harem pants for Princess back in the summer so she’d have something “cool” (as in “awesomely stylish”) and comfortable to wear to Camp Broadway in NYC.  She admitted they were comfortable but I could never convince her they were “cool”.  I should’ve made them in my size instead.

Can you tell me where you found the pattern? or did you come up with it on your own?

I made the pattern myself. It was a “slash and spread” hackjob (not sure if you know patterning vocab. If you do some googling, you might be able to figure it out. Maybe someday I’ll do a quick “slash and spread” tutorial. It’s pretty fun.
