Cabin Camping in Southern Utah

by This is Carrie on June 14, 2011

It was a little summer vacation before our summer had officially begun.

We flew through the air on a rickety, old tree swing.

We spent quality time with Grandma.

We got reaquainted with our cousins that live too far away.

We survived (even enjoyed) the lack of electricity and running water even if it meant being “disconnected”, using outhouses and having perpetual dirty faces.

I miss the West! These photos remind me of a good Louis Lamour story. And I miss my Utah family, too.

We should make this a yearly tradition. We had a great time!

Looks like everyone had a ton of fun. My husband is planning some kind of Yosemite camping trip next summer. I think I was invited?
