Summer Fun: Job Jar

by This is Carrie on July 12, 2011

I remember having a summer job jar growing up.  All summer long, it was a way to earn a little “ice cream truck money”.

The jobs in our jar include: clean the baseboards in one room, clean and organize the silverware drawer, take out the bathroom trash, wipe down all doorknobs, wash the sliding glass doors, clean + vacuum under couch cushions, organize a dresser drawer.  Payouts range from 25 cents to $1 depending of the job.  Tip: get a few rolls of quarters from the bank to have on hand so you always have change!
