Making Stuff: A Sweater Full of Memories

by This is Carrie on November 15, 2011

I’ve always wondered what to do with my running medals. After reading about Medals of Courage, my Disneyland Half Marathon medal is on it’s way to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.  It’s such an easy thing that could mean a lot to a little one battling cancer.  I ran faster in that half marathon than I […]

by This is Carrie on November 11, 2011

Every guy deserves a little vacation with the boys.  Over a month ago, they took their “mancation” to Mammoth to do a little mountain biking.  If you only watch 10 seconds of the video, Todd wants you to know he is the one jumping in the very first shot.  Watching the crazy stuff they do […]

by This is Carrie on November 10, 2011

Making Blankets of Love: The Joyful Foundation

by This is Carrie on November 8, 2011

Now I'm regretting showing the "baby monkey riding backwards on a pig" video to my kids. That song is way too catchy! # 3 kids, 3 pumpkins and 4 knives. What could go wrong? # Just came up with a different costume for The Baby. If I can pull it off, it will be EPIC. […]

Making Stuff: Baby Beavis {DIY Halloween Costume}

by This is Carrie on November 2, 2011

The Baby already had his “Black Eyed Pea” costume, but the day before Halloween I decided he really needed to be Beavis.  In the last two weeks he has developed this little laugh that sounds like “Heh, heh. Heh, heh.”  If you’ve ever watched the show, you know what I mean.  A little freezer paper […]
