In our family, we call these trophies. I got this trophy from a little crash while attempting to ride through a steep “halfpipe” that I had no business riding through. There weren’t actual tears, just wet stream crossings and twinge of sadness when I saw a lizard have an unfortunate meeting with a bike tire.

When the group of us finally made it to the top of the hill, all we could say was “Dam!”(It would be funnier if you could see the dam a little better in this picture. Oh well, I tried).
