In our family, we call these trophies. I got this trophy from a little crash while attempting to ride through a steep “halfpipe” that I had no business riding through. There weren’t actual tears, just wet stream crossings and twinge of sadness when I saw a lizard have an unfortunate meeting with a bike tire.
